Inspiration for our company name, the HazOp (Process Hazard and Operability Study) technique is one of the most widespread and efficient industrial risk analysis techniques used in the chemical and petrochemical process industry. It is relatively simple, systematic and multi-disciplinary, generating fundamental information to promote the correct assessment of the hazards and risks involved in these processes.

 

It is a qualitative technique whose intention is to bring to the meeting table the specialists of the various areas involved, so that they can give their opinions under each point of view (safety, process, maintenance, design, control...), complementing and evaluating the causes and consequences of the deviations presented in the different NODES identified in the process.

 

Its implementation is easy, especially when the team is united and focused on obtaining constructive information for the improvement and guarantee of the integrity of the facilities and the security of the collaborators.
