PRAs (Service Preliminary Risk Analysis) is an application of the basic risk analysis to evaluate the risks of industrial area services.

 

The PRAs methodology consists of the following tasks:

• Characterization of the operational (starting activities, routine operation, stop and emergency) or maintenance (lifting of parts and equipment, interventions in equipment and systems) services performed in the plant.

• Survey of information on the activities, facilities, equipment, dangerous substances / energies involved;

• Separation of analysis modules;

• Risk analysis of each activity, with evaluation of causes, relevant factors, frequency and severity, generating suggestions and recommendations for mitigation of risks.
